Lmao. It's really 2022 and I'm making a post on my 15 year old DeviantArt account. It's almost old enough to drive. This is sort of like a nostalgia/therapeutic exercise for me? Because none of the people who might see this will know who I am. And if anyone I was following/who was following me a decade ago read this, that's alright, too, I guess. I kind of miss how much easier life was back in 2010-11 before I stopped using dA...I mean, I was 15/16 years old and there was a lot of fucked up shit going on that definitely traumatized me. I'm dealing with the aftermath of that now at 26, realizing I was emotionally and mentally abused by my mom growing up, that the shit that happened in the house around me growing up was NOT normal, and that my sister had to grow up trying to shield her younger sibling from some pretty awful abuse. But I think I was a lot happier back then, at least I thought and felt like I was. Looking back I think that I was probably just forcing myself through

I didn't miss this place at all during my self-inflicted exile. I don't think I plan to come back, honestly. I have more time to do things that interest me now, rather than prattle away going through all my messages for hours.
